Princess Isabella

Princess Isabella

Love and loyalty are tested in The Way: Through a Field of Stars as Princess Isabella of France and her companions travel through foreign lands, unlock the Templars’ secret codes, and discover the wisdom of the Camino de Santiago. The heroine in The Way: Through a Field of Stars is based on Princess Isabella of France also known as The She-Wolf of France. She was notable for her intelligence, beauty, and diplomatic skills. However, Little is known about her before her marriage to Edward II of England in 1308; even the date of her birth is in dispute. She was the only daughter of King Philip IV and Joan of Navarre. Week 1: Our Mission

Week 1: Our Mission

Dear Reader,April 8th marks the three-year anniversary of when I was first told about a secret code of the Knights Templar on the Camino de Santiago. This code inspired me to write The Way: Through a Field of Stars. As I walked the Camino, the story for this novel played like a movie in my head. The things I saw, the people I met, and the experiences I had all wove together into a perfect narrative. I feel I was given something very special, and I want to share it with the world. My aspiration is to make The Way: Through a Field of Stars a New York Times Best Seller. It is my passion to inspire millions of people to take their own adventure along the Camino de Santiago. Whether they do this from their armchair or decide to walk the Camino, my hope is that this novel will inspire the adventure of a lifetime. 5,000 copies of the book sold in the first week will make...

In the evening at the Albergue (Pilgrims Shelter), the Hospitalero told me that there used to be five Templar commanderies in the city and that the entire hill was hallowed out with tunnels that stored the Templars treasure. He told me many great things about the Templars and their significance to pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. As we were finishing, he lowered his voice and said, "There is a code of the...
